Installation
Set up Plate Flipper, its dependencies, and the included inventory items.
Requirements
The resource manifest requires:
| Dependency | Purpose |
|---|---|
| OneSync | Vehicle and object synchronization |
oxmysql | Saved installations and artwork |
402studio_bridge | Framework, inventory, and vehicle integration |
Use 402studio_bridge version 1.1.0 or newer. Configure its framework, inventory, and vehicle providers before starting Plate Flipper. With the default Plate Flipper settings, the inventory and vehicle providers must be ready.
The default provider setup uses qbx_core, qbx_vehicles, and ox_inventory. Start the providers selected in your bridge configuration. The optional target menu uses ox_target by default. Installation and removal progress use the progress provider selected by the bridge.
Add the resource
Place the complete 402studio_plateflipper folder in your server's resources directory. Keep its folder name as supplied. The package includes the compiled interface in web/dist and its streamed assets.
Add the following start order to server.cfg for the default provider setup:
ensure oxmysql
ensure ox_lib
ensure ox_target
ensure qbx_core
ensure qbx_vehicles
ensure ox_inventory
ensure 402studio_bridge
ensure 402studio_plateflipperEnable OneSync in your server configuration. Start the progress provider before the bridge. If you use another configured framework, inventory, or vehicle provider, replace the corresponding provider lines with your own resources.
Add inventory items
The included ADD_ME/items.lua contains both item definitions. For ox_inventory, add these entries inside the table returned by ox_inventory/data/items.lua:
['plate_flipper_kit'] = {
label = 'Plate Flipper Kit',
weight = 600,
stack = true,
consume = 0,
client = { export = '402studio_plateflipper.useKit' },
},
['plate_flipper_remote'] = {
label = 'Plate Flipper Remote',
weight = 80,
stack = false,
consume = 0,
client = { export = '402studio_plateflipper.useRemote' },
},Copy ADD_ME/icons/plate_flipper_kit.png and ADD_ME/icons/plate_flipper_remote.png into your inventory's image folder. For ox_inventory, this is web/images.
Keep consume = 0 in the item definitions. Plate Flipper consumes the kit when installation completes. The remote remains in the player's inventory.
If you change the item names, update Config.Items.kit and Config.Items.remote in config.lua to match. Restart the inventory after changing its item definitions, then restart Plate Flipper.
Check the installation
- Check the server console for dependency or bridge provider errors.
- Give a character a kit and a remote through your inventory's normal tools.
- Park a vehicle owned by that character and run
/plateflipperbeside it. - Complete an installation, create a design, and choose Save plates.
- Flip with J, then check the same vehicle from another player's view.
- Store and respawn the vehicle, then check its installation and saved artwork.
