Troubleshooting
Resolve Plate Flipper startup, vehicle, item, artwork, and fitting problems.
Resource startup
Check the server console first. Plate Flipper needs OneSync, oxmysql, and 402studio_bridge version 1.1.0 or newer.

For a flipper that fails to return after a vehicle respawn, check that the garage provides the same persistent vehicle ID and that the database is available. Check the ownership transfer policy if the vehicle changed owner.
Items and target menu
If a kit or remote does nothing, compare its item name and client export with ADD_ME/items.lua. Keep the names in config.lua consistent with your inventory. Restart the inventory after changing item definitions.
If the target menu is missing, check Target.enabled, confirm that the configured Target.resource is started, and move within Target.distance. The default target resource is ox_target. Use /plateflipper and /plateflip to check the command controls.
Inventory full. Flipper kept installed. means the returned kit could not fit. Make room and repeat removal.
Editor and artwork
If the editor does not appear, check that the complete web/dist directory is installed and that the browser files match the resource manifest. After customizing the interface, include both index.html and dui.html with their referenced assets.
Drawing tools are disabled on Original plate. Select Custom plate and choose Own artwork to enable them. A stock plate style uses its plate text field instead of free drawing.
If an upload fails, use PNG, JPEG, WebP, or SVG within the 8 MiB upload limit. A detailed image can still exceed the saved image limit. Try a simpler version. Remove layers when the 48-layer limit is reached, or remove a drawing layer when the brush-point limit is reached.
Design changed. Reopen the editor. means the saved design changed while your editor was open. Close it, reopen it, and check the current saved artwork before editing again.
Vehicle fit
Use Vehicle fit to adjust front and rear positions independently. Check both plate faces, the halfway point of a flip, and different camera angles.
When the front plate bone is missing, the fitting screen starts from the front of the vehicle for manual placement. A missing rear plate bone needs a vehicle model with a suitable rear plate mount.
If handles are unavailable, use the numeric position, rotation, and size fields. If Snap to vehicle cannot find a surface, position the frame manually. Reset to default position restores the configured defaults. Cancel returns to the last saved fit.
Coverage of the original plate depends on the vehicle model and housing position. Inspect the fitted frame on each vehicle model used by your server.
Translations
Check the filename in locales, the language selected by 402studio:locale, and the JSON syntax. Keep translation keys and placeholders intact. Missing keys use English.
Restart Plate Flipper after changing a locale file or the selected language.
